Participant Story | Ken

Participant Preparation

Preparation formed an important part of Ken's placement experience.

Prior to travelling to Australia, he participated in English readiness and workplace communication training coordinated by Capacité Development Center Philippines. The training focused on practical communication skills that would support everyday interactions within an Australian workplace, helping participants build confidence before entering a new professional environment.

Combined with pre-departure coordination and ongoing support, this preparation allowed Ken to transition smoothly into the placement and focus on developing practical skills once he arrived in Victoria.

Placement Experience

During the placement, Ken worked alongside experienced dairy professionals on a commercial dairy farm in Victoria, gaining firsthand exposure to modern Australian dairy farming practices.

His placement included practical experience in:

  • Daily dairy farm operations
  • Animal handling and welfare
  • Workplace health and safety
  • Farm routines and operational procedures
  • Team-based agricultural work
  • Australian workplace culture

Working in an operational farming environment provided valuable opportunities to observe industry standards while applying new knowledge in a practical setting.

  • A Short Yet Meaningful Journey to Australia

Every journey begins with a question: Are we ready for the road ahead?

Our journey started when we connected with Magsige Cooperative, a cooperative based in Davao City that opened the door to new opportunities. Through their partnership with an Australian organization, we were given the chance to pursue a dream shared by many Filipinos—the dream of Australia.

This journey began with the General English Training Program led by Ms. Marissa of Capacité Australia. Capacité Development Center Philippines also supported our preparation through its General English Training Program, helping us build the communication skills and confidence needed for our placement in Australia.

Ms. Marissa played a vital role in guiding us throughout our journey—from the General English training in the Philippines to the preparation and facilitation of our Australian training program. Her passion, dedication, and genuine concern for our success made a lasting impact on all of us.

The General English Training Program became one of the most valuable tools we brought with us to Australia. It helped us strengthen our communication skills and prepared us to confidently interact with Australian trainers and professionals throughout our program.

Today, we have successfully completed our training, and we are proud of what we have achieved. This accomplishment would not have been possible without the support and guidance we received along the way.

We thank God for His blessings, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Capacité Australia for equipping us with the skills and confidence we needed for this journey.

If you are planning to study, train, or work abroad and want to improve your English communication skills, I highly recommend the General English Training Program of Capacité Australia. It is an excellent way to prepare yourself for international opportunities and future success.

Thank you, Capacité Australia, for being part of our journey and helping us turn our dreams into reality.
